Obiano sworn in as Anambra gov

AWKA—Dr. Willie Obiano and Dr. Nkamakonam Okeke were yesterday, sworn in as governor and deputy governor of Anambra State respectively with a pledge to tackle headlong the perennial problems of power failure and insecurity which they identified as the biggest constraints to the full manifestation of the ingenuity for which Anambra people were known.
Chief Judge on court order
This was even as the state Chief Judge, Justice Peter Umeadi, denied ever flouting any court order by swearing them into office.
However, the Special Adviser to the President on Inter-Party Matters, Chief Ben Obihas announced the appointment of former Governor Obi,  as the honourary Adviser on Finance to President Goodluck Jonathan and would soon become a member of the Federal Executive Council, FEC.
Society’s enduring virtues of love, unity and brotherhood were some of the central themes that dominated the inaugural address of the new Governor, Obiano after taking the oath of office, in an elaborate ceremony in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

Tackling challenges
At the colourful ceremony held at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka and attended by eminent personalities from Anambra and beyond, Obiano said  that the realisation of his dreams for Anambra State depends on how well these two challenges were tackled.
He said: “The good news is that there is hope for Anambra State.  We shall aggressively address the challenge of power supply with the proposed citing of ultra-modern Independent Power Plants, IPP, in the three industrial hubs in the state, especially, in Onitsha, Nnewi and Awka.  When fully operational, these plants will generate enough electricity to power the entrepreneurial dreams of our people.”
On security
In the area of security, he said: “Anambra will be different under my watch. Not only shall we redraft the operational manual of the entire security apparatchik to ensure a lightening-quick response, we shall also re-orientate our people to see that every citizen has a role to play in the security of our communities.  The concept of community policing or what is better known as the Vigilante Groups, has worked well in Anambra State.
“The next challenge however is to re-train, re-equip and refocus them to meet the dynamics of our time. Along the same line, we will strengthen the police and other law enforcement agencies in the state to enhance their efficiency and response rate to distress calls.”
Clamour for capital city
Obiano also said that his government would address the long clamour by Anambra people for a capital city “that fully reflects the essence of our people,” adding that Awka would be re-designed and remodeled to meet the structural and aesthetic requirements of a 21st Century city that the people would be proud off.
Apart from these, he also said that his government would faithfully implement the master plans of Onitsha and Nnewi.
He listed other priorities of his government to include aggressive mechanised agriculture, oil and gas development, trade and commerce and industrialisation.
Eulogises Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu
While paying a glowing tribute to the late APGA leader and Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu for building a new political ark for Ndigbo, Obiano also expressed gratitude to the people of Anmabra for the overwhelming support they gave to him during the last gubernatorial poll.
President Jonathan, who was represented at the occasion by his Adviser on inter party matters, Chief Obi, said he had enjoyed the support of the former governor and assured that “he remains my honourary adviser on Finance.
“Sooner or later Peter Obi will be a member of the Federal Executive Council,” the president said.
Earlier in his valedictory speech, former governor Obi had described the transition as historic pointing out that since the creation of both old and new Anambra State, “no governor has handed over to anybody.”
Obi speaks
His words: “Chief Jim Nwobodo did not hand over to Chief Christian Onoh (in the Second Republic); Chukwuemeka Ezeife did not hand over to Dr. Chinwoke Mbadinuju; Mbadinuju did not hand over to Dr. Chris Ngige and Ngige was not available the day I took my oath of office.’’
He also claimed that when he ‘’was sworn in, Anambra did not have the Governor’s Office, there was no Governor’s Lodge.  When I was sworn in, I came with my car but today as we leave here after the new Governor has been sworn in, he will move in a brand new Governor’s car and he will move into a Governor’s Lodge.
Anambra State has returned to the path of peace and progress because when we started the journey all of us knew what it was but today, we can say we have a state.”
He denied entering into any pact with Obiano, advising his successor to give priority attention to the future of the youths in the state.
Roll call
The inauguration ceremony was attended by eminent personalities including former Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Azubuike Ihejirila, rtd,  Gov. Theodore Orji of Abia State, Special Adviser to the President on Inter-Party Affairs, Sen. Ben Obi, GOC 82 Div, Major Gen. S. Yusuf, APGA National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh, Business mogul, Prince Arthur Eze, Sir Emeka Offor, wives of Delta and Cross River State Governors, Roli Uduaghan and Obioma Imoke, Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu and  APC Chieftain, Chief Annie Okonkwo.
Meanwhile, the state Chief Judge, Justice Umeadi, has denied ever flouting an alleged court order restraining him from swearing in Obiano as governor of the state.
In a statement signed on his behalf by the Chief Registrar, N. D. Ezeani, yesterday, after the swearing in ceremony, Justice Umeadi noted that there was a suit seeking a mandatory injunction to stop him from swearing in Obiano and Okeke yesterday, but that the suit had not yet been determined.
He noted that from the numerous legal authorities listed in the publications, wondering whether the plaintiff  would still achieve the purport of his reliefs if he continued with his suit.
The suit
Dr. Chike Obidigbo had in a suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/118/2014, asked the Federal High Court, Abuja for an injunction restraining the swearing in of Obiano and his deputy yesterday.
Joined in the suit were the factional Chairman of APGA, Chief Maxi Okwu, APGA, INEC and Chief Judge of Anambra State.
Umeadi, however, observed that he would obey all orders of court on matters which come to his notice, even as he would not evade service of any court process.
He said he would equally allow access even where it is to be served on him personally, adding that even where he is absent and the court process is received in his chambers, it would certainly come to his notice and he would abide by same.
Umeadi further said that there was nothing to show that injunction was granted against him on the matter as none was served on him, adding that he was a nominal party in the said suit.
Chief Obiano, ex-banker and technocrat who won the November 16, and run off election on November 30, 2014 on the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, took over from the immediate past governor, Mr. Peter Obi whose two tenures of eights were been largely described as successful
In a highly inspiring address titled, Expanding the Frontiers of Excellence; Obiano who is the fourth democratically elected governor of Anambra State sought to rouse the consciousness of Ndi Anambra by reminding them of the Igbo industry and ingenuity when he said: “A people who astonished the world with their ingenuity and resourcefulness during wartime can lend a weighty hand to efforts to re-make our world in peace-time.”

I met my dream woman a week after I got engaged...

I gave my girlfriend of two and a half years an engagement ring and just a little over a week later I met the woman of my dreams who is single and interested in having a relationship with me. How do I break things off with my girl without breaking her heart? I'm convinced without any iota of doubt that this new girl is The One. What would you advise? Why did I get engaged when I wasn't sure? Pressure! Some guys know what I mean...

How to make MONEY on FACEBOOK in Nigeria with ease. So simple!

Steps to Earning Extra Cash Online through facebook as a Nigerian from Nigeria. At this stage and age of internet advancement, some people still do not believe
that they can earn big income from the Internet. They still fear of being scammed.

This article is actually for those who believe in the power of the internet and are ready to explore it to the fullest. Have you got a facebook account and you do not know how to use it to earn extra income online? You will see exactly the ways through which you can use your facebook account to earn extra income online.

Step one, you must have a facebook account with many friends. If you have a facebook account with as many as 1000 friends plus, you are 50% set to earn extra income online with your facebook account.

Step two, you must have a product you want to sell. Yes, this is the more reason why you
have to learn about importation business. See www.importationbizguru.com and learn about importation business. What has this got to do with making money on facebook? To make money on facebook, you must be selling something to the friends you have. If you learn about importation business from www.importationbizguru.com, you will be able to import some goods like phones, blackberries, laptops, ipads, jewlries, shirts, shoes etc from abroad and delivered to your doorsteps within 5days.
You buy these items at cheap rates and sell in Nigeria for as much as 200% profit. When you buy these items, you can take snap shots and upload to facebook for your friends to see. You give prices cheaper than what they sell for in the country and tag as many friends as possible in the image to ensure that friends of friends also see it. Once this is done, you will see lots of interested friends and you will easily sell the imported products.
Imagine importing wrist watches for as cheap as #700 from abroad (see www.importationbizguru.com) and selling to friends on facebook for as much as #2000 each. That’s #1300 in pure profit. You can easily sell 30 pieces in a month. That will be almost #40,000 in profit.

Step three; You can as well create an information product and sell to your friends on facebook. What do i mean by an information product? You have an idea about how to do something, you package it by documenting it in a report. It can be just a 20 paged report with a step by step instruction on how to do such thing. Take for example. I know how to make money from betting on football matches. I quickly created a guide on how to do so. I know how to drive a car, i quickly create a manual on how to. I have a brother that travelled abroad to school without paying fees to agents, i asked him how he did it and i quickly document it. I have created an information product. I will also create a website for it (not always necessary if you are not planning to do this big time like i do), example of such website can be www.makemoneywatchingfootball.com/home
The information product that you have created can be sold to your friends who are interested in it. You will just update it on your facebook wall once or twice in a day. That’s it. Trust me, this can earn you over #100,000 monthly income from facebook.

Step four; you can also organize trainings to teach your friends about what you know. When i started using facebook, i never knew the power of it until when i was making money from fiverr.com and i update it on facebook. Friends see it and started contacting me to teach them how to make money from fiverr. I charged them #10,000 and they were ready to pay. I take them in my house and i get at least 10 people to train in a month collecting #10,000 each from them. Later, i started updating my trainings on facebook and have friends come down to learn from me. I was getting more prospects from facebook. These are my friends on facebook and friends of my friends.

Finally, if you are serious and focus, you surely will benefit from facebook. The friends on it will be capitalized on to make more money from facebook in Nigeria if you learn to be a marketer. Marketing physical product or information products.

2 Ways to Make Money Using Facebook

Facebook isn't a secret money pile just waiting to be found, but it can be a reliable source of extra income with some work and a clever approach. Read the steps below to learn how to make money using Facebook.

1. Make great posts:
The foundation of any successful plan to make money with social media is good content, and lots of it. On Facebook, that means a stream of interesting links, images, and updates every day.
  • Search for a niche and fill it with quality content. It doesn't have to be a niche nobody else is filling, but it should be specific enough that it's clear to the casual observer. For example, maybe you'll post content for cat lovers, mothers, or people with a certain political affiliation. If you plan to market a product with your account, be sure to link the product to your posts in some way.
  • Consider opening up another Facebook account and keeping it separate from your personal account. Use this account for your posts, and link them on your personal Facebook account to let people know about them. Depending on the approaches you use, you might even consider using multiple extra accounts.
  • Give it time. Let your account build up interest over time by continuing to provide fresh and relevant content every day.
2. Make a commitment to earn:
The only way to reliably make money using Facebook is through persistent work. Like any job, setting a schedule and sticking to it is the key.
  • Organize. Whatever strategy you plan to pursue, you'll probably have to take care of several things every day to make it work for you. Plan out the order and times you'll do them in advance.
  • Saturate your market. Making money with Facebook is more of a numbers game than anything else. Since marketing on Facebook costs nothing except time, you can market as much as you want – even to a point that would be prohibitively expensive any other way – and let the percentages and statistics work their magic one penny at a time.
  • Add aggressively. One of the best ways to increase the number of people looking at your page is to simply add people as friends as often as you can. Most won't accept, but some will.

15 Easy Ways To Make Money On The Internet

So it turns out that the internet is good for more than just porn and video games – you can make money off it too! Think of the internet as a giant country called Imaginationland. By playing your cards right, you can make some easy money online doing things you’re already doing. Here are some lifehacks to start you off:

1. Website Building

If the internet is a country, then websites are like real estates. I’m hoping by now you have a general understanding that real estates are valuable in the physical world – digital real estates work the same way. By building a website, you’re creating your own plot of online “land.”
You can fill this land with whatever you want, but you have to promote it through social media (and anywhere else you can think of) for this to be successful. When you build traffic to your land, you can sell people whatever you have to offer. In order to build a website, you need a host (i.e GoDaddy), a template (i.e WordPress), and content.
The first two parts are easy to find, and content is only as difficult as you make it. You can post blogs, items for sale, pictures, videos, or whatever you want. Opening up your own website gives you the potential to make money from the avenues I’m going to mention.

2. B2B Marketing

An online business model I love is utilized by GetVoiP, an affiliate marketer based in New York. GetVoiP acts as an agent for business communication providers. They maintain updated listings of VoiP providers, including ratings, comparisons, consumer reviews, in-depth knowledge of market and end-user trends, and expert opinions from business professionals on a variety of topics related to business consumers. By not only keeping abreast of news, but providing detailed analysis of products being offered, GetVoiP is able to generate traffic to their site and increase their clout with businesses.
The more online clout you have as a business, the more money you’ll make. If you’re known for making lasting connections (as is the case with GetVoiP above), then you’ll have no issues building your online brand. You’ll be recognized in your community and begin to build a buzz in your industry. Tracking your numbers (how many people view your site, click each ad, and make a purchase from that click) gives you the leverage to expand this part of your business, enabling you to continue building your online rep.

3. Google Adsense

If that sounds like too much technical information for you, there is an easy button – Google’s advertising platform is as simple as signing up, enabling (on Blogger) or pasting a small code on your website, and allowing the advertisements to automatically roll in. The problem with this program is that you don’t get any commissions – and you don’t get to control the ad content. This is useful for some, but powerful users will want something a little more robust.

4. Amazon Associates

Amazon has an Associates program for site owners and bloggers. They offer a search tool to find the right products and services from their site and a variety of ad styles to display on your site, including text-based and banner images (digital billboards) like this:
Each item purchased through your Amazon links give you a commission. It doesn’t take high volume traffic to achieve results, either. I began making money with the program when I only had 1,000 hits per month on my site. They can apply your earnings to your Amazon account balance, issue you a check, or direct deposit into your bank account. If you love Amazon, you’ll love their associate’s program. Click here for another Lifehack dedicated to Amazon Associates.

5. Rakuten Linkshare

Amazon and Google are far from your only options for online advertising. Rakuten Linkshare is a great place to search for other affiliates for your ads. Through their program, you can get customized ad links, email links, and banner ads for Starbucks, Walmart, iTunes, and a slew of other popular brands. With this program, you can also find smaller companies, regional or specialized brands, and more. I run a combination of Google, Amazon, and Rakuten’s programs, and my monthly income is approximately $150 from these programs. It’s not a lot of money, but it’s also not a lot of work for residual (it means recurring…since the ads are permanent…) income.

6. Company Referral Programs

Speaking of the benefits of permanent ads, banners and links aren’t the only ways to earn a little bit of dough off your online endeavors. By having a website, you gain the power of emailing companies to ask them for things. I have no shame in letting the yoga company whose mat I’m looking into purchasing know that I have a blog and write for yoga publications – it sometimes gets me discounts.
Other times, I gain a valuable business contact in PR, advertising, or other aspects of corporate sales. Sometimes I just get a free drink. Either way, money in and of itself is worthless. Ditch the middle man and use the internet to barter what you have and can do for what you need.

7. Klout

If you have a social media account, try out Klout. The company tracks your social media usage, determines how big and what type of audience you draw based on the subject matter of your updates and posts. Using this information, you’re qualified to receive free items, tickets, etc. Check their website often to find ways of earning free stuff by doing what you’re already doing online…boring the rest of us…

8. EBay

If you have anything you want to sell, then EBay is the place you need to seriously consider doing it first. Personally I’m not a fan of the site because of the work it takes to build up a reputation. If you’re willing to grind through that process, you’ll be rewarded with many privileges – people have gotten rich selling books about how they got rich selling everything on EBay: Click here for a few tips from the pros.

9. Amazon

If you start getting too big for EBay or decide you want to try a different flavor, Amazon has a marketplace as well. I prefer using Amazon because I can depend on their shipping, have a Prime account, and trust their reviews (overall, not usually singularly, although occasionally that as well). Learn more about Amazon’s marketplace by clicking on this Lifehack, and delve into the marketplace.
The difference between Amazon and EBay is that EBay (though still filled with new items) is seen as a used marketplace between individual parties, whereas Amazon (which is filled with offers for new and used merchandise from the 3rd parties) is viewed as a Wal-Mart-type superstore. As a consumer, this difference leads me to use Amazon, so it only makes sense to target on my own demographic.

10. Etsy

If you’re crafty (and I mean that in more than one way, wink wink), you’ll enjoy Etsy. Handcrafted items are the bread and butter here. Plenty of people make decent side money on the site, which is basically an EBay for crafters and artists. Set up a sellers account with Etsy, and you’ll be asked to set up your virtual storefront and put up at least 5 goods for sale.
Once you have this down, you’ll be a budding Etsy entrepreneur. Provide great quality to your customers, and they’ll often return. Many people are willing to pay a premium for quality handmade designs. Etsy (like EBay and Amazon) takes a cut off the top for selling items through their site. PayPal takes another cut, and you have to be careful with taxes on all income, so be diligent while building your online business.

11. Craigslist

Craigslist is the modern equivalent of the classified ads that dominated the days of newspapers. These quick ads are easy to navigate and use, and they’re geographically linked. Whether you’re selling something or offering a service, this lifehack is a great place to start learning the intricacies of Craigslist.
Posting ads on Craigslist is technically easy, but people often have fears about posting their personal information on the site. I communicate mostly through email when doing business on Craigslist, and I’ve never run into any issues. I’ve never been ripped off, nor have I been murdered or raped for using the site. It takes common sense, so use your best judgment, but don’t assume someone is a thief just because of their preferred communication method. For an extra bonus, google “funny Craigslist ads” to see some delightful examples of guerilla and grassroots marketing.

12. Indeed

Maybe what you need is a job. It doesn’t matter which job search site you prefer using (even Craigslist) – Indeed tracks them all, and then some. You can find jobs posted on company websites, through temp agencies, and more at Indeed. If money is something you really need, Indeed is most definitely the place you want to visit to browse career opportunities.

13. Elance

Where Indeed excels at finding job postings across the web and acting as a search crawler for employment, maybe a full-fledged career is too big of a commitment at this point in your life. Elance is a site to find freelance work of all types. I’ve used it for quick writing, editing, copywriting, resume building, and other odd jobs and temp gigs. The experience has been great.
Elance offers a wide array of technical, data entry, accounting, and other freelance and temp gigs. If you’re just looking for something short and sweet, log in, input and showcase your marketable skills, and begin searching through their job database, using any parameters you desire. Once you submit a bid, you’ll receive an acceptance or denial – you may get a few rejections, but don’t sweat it. Negotiate the terms of your bid, and get to work. You have money to make.

14. Mturk

If you’ve heard of crowdsourcing (and even if you haven’t), Amazon’s Mechanical Turk program is a great place to get involved. Much like at Elance, you input your info and skills. You then are able to search for different menial tasks ranging from identifying inappropriate web content to transcribing audio recordings to basic data entry work.
Just like at any other job, the more work you do, and the better your quality, the more opportunities you’ll have to make money. The payouts are often small, and your payment is received in Amazon credit, but Mturk is a great place to make mindless money while veg’ing on the couch watching TV.

15. LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a social media site for professionals. This isn’t a direct way to make money, but it’s a great way to connect to your current and potential peers, customers, clients, vendors, and more here. You’ll build a reputation and get in the loop on important developments in your chosen career path and/or industry. One day an old college buddy may hit you up for a dream job you never considered at the exact moment you are looking for a new vocation. Whether you like it or not, keeping your LinkedIn profile current is a great way to get surprised with new work opportunities out the blue.

7 mistakes you do everyday that ruin your mood

Why does our mood change?

Before i can tell you about the mistakes that ruin your mood you first need to know the mechanism responsible for changing your mood throughout the day. In my article understanding mood swing i explained how the inputs we keep receiving through our senses keep changing our moods through out the day.
Your mood can change either because of your thoughts or because of an external input from the outside world. For example, if you took a look at your watch and noticed that you are late then your thoughts will change and your mood will follow.

7 mistakes you do everyday that ruin your mood

  • 1) Consumption of wrong data: How would it feel like if you were feeling full then you kept eating lots of food? Of course you will feel really bad. Food consumption isn't any different than information consumption. If you are in no mood to know the recent news, to find out who went into a relationship or to know what your friends did then checking your Facebook home can destroy your mood. Consuming information when you don't feel like it is like eating while you are full and this is why so many people end up feeling bad after checking their Facebook home.
  • 2) Compulsive checking of important information: Lets suppose you were waiting for an important message or email. In such a case checking for that message every now and then might result in severe disappointment. The same happens to those who check their stock prices, social network updates or email very frequently.
  • 3) When Eating goes wrong: Food can make us happy, this is a fact that many people know but just as you can get a temporary pleasure out of eating your favorite food you can also I) Feel really guilty if you believed that this food can affect your body shape or health II) Experience serious mood swing as a result of binging.
  • 4) Physical vs emotional pain: In one study it was found that the areas in the brain that get activated as result of being socially rejected are the same as the ones that get activated when people experience physical pain. In other words just as your emotional state can affect your physical state your physical state can also affect your emotions as well. If you put your physical body under pressure then you are also pressuring your brain and emotional state (for example: not taking brakes, working late at night..etc)
  • 5) Perception of time: If you are a procastinator then i am sure you understand how you tend to feel more pressured as a the time passes. One of the external inputs that affects our moods is the passage of time. If you had certain tasks to complete then make sure you don't waste time at the beginning of the day else you will risk ruining your mood later on
  • 6) Getting exposed to negativity: Whether its a discussion forum, a post with its angry comments or a verbal fight on a social network consuming this kind of information can dramatically lower your mood. In my previous articles, i explained how getting exposed to few negative words can dramatically change your mood
  • 7) Delayed long term objectives: Even if you stayed in bed and didn't subject yourself to any external input your thoughts will still affect your mood. So many people put their long term plans aside and as a result experience guilt, sadness and dissatisfaction with their lives every single day. Start on your long term goals today in order to end those bad moods.

Beware of illuminati

You are about to be astounded with fascinating and startling information (and lots of it).  You can delve into this as much as your curiosity will take you (or your stomach will allow).  I had heard the term "Illuminati" many times throughout my life, but never took the time to check into it.  In my mind, it was something that didn't really pertain to soul-winning Christians.  I was very wrong.  We must "come out of the closet" ourselves as Christians and start exposing the evils destroying America.  The average person is completely ignorant of the truth.  It is not only the responsibility of Christians to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to lost sinners, but also to expose the evils of our day.  America's churches are woefully dead.  Most believers are indifferent and apathetic Why are the churches silent?  We need Billy Sunday type revivals all across America!  Billy Sunday hated booze and cried out aloud against it, eventually leading to the prohibition years.  Likewise, we need Christians all across America to cry out against the woeful wickedness which has infested the United States of America.
It is extremely difficult to find information about the Illuminati written by born-again, doctrinally correct believers.  I do NOT necessarily agree with all of the following information.  Howbeit, this is some of the best information I have discovered exposing the depths to which Satanism in it's various occult forms has infiltrated our society, government, and even many churches.  I believe in a Pre-tribulation rapture and disagree with Mr. Novosel concerning the rapture; nevertheless, I greatly appreciate his years of research in preparing this excellent work.  You will be astounded as I was.  May God speak to your heart as these words speak to your mind.  Once again, I do NOT agree with everything presented in the the following pages, but I do agree with most of it.  As you will learn, truth is stranger than fiction.

The History of the Chaplet of The Divine Mercy

The History of the Chaplet of The Divine Mercy

In 1935, St. Faustina received a vision of an angel sent by God to chastise a certain city. She began to pray for mercy, but her prayers were powerless. Suddenly she saw the Holy Trinity and felt the power of Jesus’ grace within her. At the same time she found herself pleading with God for mercy with words she heard interiorly:

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world; for the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us. (Diary, 475)

As she continued saying this inspired prayer, the angel became helpless and could not carry out the deserved punishment (see 474). The next day, as she was entering the chapel, she again heard this interior voice, instructing her how to recite the prayer that our Lord later called "the Chaplet." This time, after "have mercy on us" were added the words "and on the whole world" (476). From then on, she recited this form of prayer almost constantly, offering it especially for the dying.

In subsequent revelations, the Lord made it clear that the Chaplet was not just for her, but for the whole world. He also attached extraordinary promises to its recitation.

Encourage souls to say the Chaplet which I have given you (1541). Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death (687). When they say this Chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the Merciful Savior (1541). Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this Chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy (687). I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy (687). Through the Chaplet you will obtain everything, if what you ask for is compatible with My will. (1731)

Prayed on ordinary rosary beads, The Chaplet of The Divine Mercy is an intercessory prayer that extends the offering of the Eucharist, so it is especially appropriate to use it after having received Holy Communion at Holy Mass. It may be said at any time, but our Lord specifically told St. Faustina to recite it during the nine days before the Feast of Mercy (the first Sunday after Easter). He then added: "By this Novena, [of Chaplets] I will grant every possible grace to souls." (796)

It is likewise appropriate to pray the Chaplet during the "Hour of Great Mercy" — three o'clock each afternoon (recalling the time of Christ’s death on the cross). In His revelations to St. Faustina, Our Lord asked for a special remembrance of His Passion at that hour.

Today is a historic day in Anambra State as the state’s seventh civilian governor, Chief Willie Obiano, takes the oath of office to pilot the affairs of the state for the next four years.

At the mass, the bishop of Awka Catholic Diocese, Most Revd Dr Paulinus Ezeokafor, declared that Governor Obi not only recorded an unprecedented development in the state, but has also laid a solid foundation for future leaders to stand on and take the state to a higher pedestal.
The clergyma, in his sermon, said God wanted leaders to show friendliness to humanity and that any leader who answers that call  had a divine reward awaiting him.
He noted that at the inception of his administration in 2006, Governor Obi changed the state’s acronym from “Home For All” to “Light of the Nation”, adding that to the glory of God, Anambra State is today the envy of the world.
Bishop Okafor urged the incoming Governor Obiano, his deputy, Dr Okeke and their team to have concern for human dignity, and work for the common good, adding that in order to succeed, the new administration should imbibe the culture of discipline, zero tolerance to corruption, be focused and brave to initiate and implement programmes that would take the state to a greater pedestal, and assured that the church would support the new administration to succeed.
In his short speech, Governor Obi thanked God for using him to transform the state and urged his successor to be determined to face the challenges of governance.
Born in 1955, the new Anambra governor, Chief Obiano, a native of Agulueri-Otu in Anambra-East local government area in the North senatorial district, obtained a B.Sc. in Accountancy from the University of Lagos in 1979 and MBA in Marketing from the same university in 1993.
